What was the POINT?

Were 6000 plus people a significant number to pressure the government on the global effected oil prices? Were there any significant technocrat, or economist presence during the “PROTES” Rally? From the feedbacks, it seems to be a gathering in a field with men and women in Red. Stalls selling memorabilia and there were concerts in the evening. Then PKR's leaders giving speeches.. What was the purpose? I do not see the point. I rather be in Danga Bay to be with the “Jom Heboh” carnival and watch Anuar Zain and others performed.

How could Dr Hatta says that people were demonstrated their angriness last Sunday would budge the government to cap the fuel price back again like in the past? And he did say he that with this issue, it may topple the government. Hmm, with 6000 voters and let the other voters in black what kind of mitigation ways to solve the problem of global fuel price issue.

The people shouldn’t do demonstration to the government if the intention to pressure the government. Acting like hooligans, and being physical is not the democratic way in the civil world or from the Islamic world as what PAS tried to preach. I agree with the Mufti of Perlis, if you are civilized, and a Muslim, all leaders need to sit down around the same table and “DISCUSS” on how to improve the situation. A common ground needs to be achieved.

And if those leaders are civilized enough, they wont bicker and argue but to think how to solve the problem together. Rakyat today do not care who will win or who is clean, but the Rakyat wants some “WORK” to be done.

Remember, the fuel price issue is GLOBAL, not Petronas or The Malaysian government issue. If we want to protest the ever-escalating fuel price, reduce the “Demand” to meet the available “supply” in the supply and demand golden rule, and not just hanging out in the middle of a field. Again, walk the talk and not just shout and do nothing.

They can hold more demos with entertainments till the cows come home it won't change a thing, one thing's for sure THE HAWKERS ARE DEFINITELY NOT COMPLAINING! They'll say we should have a demo every week good for the economy.
