Jet-setting life

Having nasi lemak at 30,000 feet, with the speed of 800km/h, up in the skies really an awesome view. With the cotton-liked clouds just below the fuselage of the plane made it even more splendor.

Having a jet setting life some might feel its an awesome experience, at first it is but if you normally do it, almost every week in and out from one place to another is something you might not fancy. Having said that, imagine you have to wake up early in the morning, and hopping reaching the airport, ideally 2 hours before flight. If your house is near to the airport, you may not need to worry about the distance or any traffic towards the airport. Alhamdulillah (Thank GOD) that in Miri, my house to the airport is not that far and early hours us just fine to drive.

Sometimes you will get sick and tired with the on-board food and just want to concentrate the luxury of sleeping. My kind of work really a time consuming one, especially when the project is at the pre-execution stage.

Another thing is, you don’t concentrate to one place you live in. You need to have 2 sets of clothing just to cater the ‘light weight’ traveling philosophies. Some of my unused shirts are still in the beg and it might be used in the next set of travel destination.

Ouh well, I am thankfull to GOD to be bless with this kind of life. Enough for now and I might just enjoy the beautiful scenery of the earth…

Blogging a way of life?

I was hanging around at the MPH with my Sayang the weekend, searching for book and we came across with few good books... I wanted to buy it, but I know theres a few more books that I havent started to read due to busy schedule. The only time that I could have time to read is while I am in the plane, either from Miri or KL...

One book strike my attention was a book written by a girl who scored the higest A's in her SPM recently. I cant remember her name but my Sayang was pointing out to me that she was pretty and smart...Ouh well... She produced a book about her daily lives.. And it was taken from her blog!!...Ouh wow...she has a blog and made into a book!!!....imagine the business she is making...or someone else who is riding the profit from her sucess??...That makes me wanna publish all my blog writtings into a book!!...and people will buy and read my crappy writtings...uuhhuhuhuhuhu

But nowadays, its a trend, people who write blogs, now publish into books. Maybe because of goverment's move to implement Bloogers need to be registered!!!... Which I think is totally absurd!!... BLOG is something you write from yourself and those who read it should use their own judgement whether the stories are true or otherwise... Blogs are simply one to express themselves...

Why resort to Blogging??...because in the real world, we have no say... We do have wakil rakyats but what are their vision??? To make moneyyyyy out of the rakyat's money...they do not voice out our voices.... Yups...those forms you need to file before the end of April and the money you need to pay is what the Wakil Rakyats is eyeingg.... No new roads, but new toll plaza being built, thats for sure!!...Fuel prices still escallating but no changes to the world we're living in..So that is why we BLOG!!...

Another reason to BLOG is to share our vision or seeking opinion with others about something...Like in this case...on Why we blog??... A saying " Two heads are better than one head."....yea...we have the conjoint twins but that is not what it meant... What it means is we could debate and reach a certain agreement to ideas and views about the discussion and put it into one resolution and forwarded it to the world, either in your daily lives or maybe to other people... It makes the idea much stronger... I think that is why the Goverment is scared when people starts to group up and voice their opinion... One big voice is much stronger than small 100s of invidual voices...

Being famous is also why we BLOG...but i know Im not Famous yet....I dont publish 10 entries per day like Jeff Oii or Paultan..their number of hits are 100,000 per day and that is what they meant by Minimum hits... Another reason why the goverment is scared, because famous bloggers are influential.. But Like I said earlier, you need to know what is right and what is wrong for yourselve, because blogging is the view of someone's mind....

OK, let me go back to the point, I cant make my blogs into books just yet..maybe few years time i will publish a book....so what say you???

We blog tu berpada pada... and we voice the appropriate topic jer...

Malaysian Singers VS others

~This love has taken its toll on me..she says goodbye too many times before....~
Maroon 5

Song sang by Maroon 5 never fades in the media main streams... We have new emerging artise everyday from all corners of the planet earth....but this song really make me grooove!!..

Today, realilty TV shows is one major contributor of this new emerging artise.. The sprout like mushrooms underneath the tree trunk...We have BIG BROTHER (see this show while I was in UK...its a CRAP show..but people still watched it) , X-Factor (thats where El-Divo got their fame),American Idol (I still dont get it why on earth Sanjay is still on!!..hes a CRAP!!) of course, our local breed, Akedemi Fantasia (most watched reality show in MALAYSIA...even though Mas Ayu finds it disgusting.)..One in A Million (Malaysian version of American Idol..kinda like Suki and Faisal with their style of singing) and also GANGSTARZ to name a few.

Yups...I have to admit that I watched these shows whenever i feel so bored at home in Miri...

Apart from American Idol or AF5, Gangstarz is the program i watched the most... And I do follow it...Reason being is, Gangstarz is a show where 3 countries, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore are competing with each other... I dont know the reason why the Singaporeans sent their rappers to compete, which they dont really respect Malaysian (sorry Kak Lina and to my Singaporean friends, Im not implying to you).. Rapping and saying things that arent supposed to be said here in Malaysia, resulting them to be expelled from the contest.

Then we have the Malaysian groups and Indonesian groups. These two countries really showed their talent to the fullest....But From my point of view, Indonesian groups shows better performance than the Malaysian...

I bet everyone watched that show will agree with me that Indonesian are more artistic and very appealing in the performance. Band called The Lima , which only comprising 3 blokes from Indonesia, performed Naluri Lelaki few weeks back, originally sang by Samsons, were very awesome!!... They throw out their sweat and tears for that performance.. I got goose bumps after watching it on the TV... Then a group called Mendua..Even the judges were complaining about their rojak-ed fashion, but their singing style was stunning!!...the vocals, the dancing...they did 110%!!!!...

Credits to the Malaysian groups as well.. Vocals were not bad but maybe the lacking of that 110%...They seems to be "malu malu kucing"...or in English... still some essence of Shyness!...

It has always been like this...because Malaysians are not artistic in performance per se. We are creative in Arts, culture but not in perfomance...Why?...Because our culture... Since birth, our parents have shield us from the outside world... We start to so called "socialising" when we were 5 years old...thats when we started to go to kindergarten.. But we are all exam orientated.. We strive to achieve As for our exams and mostly we were taught science subjects... Art was there but it was only fine art...

Then we have society in the country whom doesnt recognised profession that is art related... Mostly we hear Engineers, Doctors or Lawyers the choices our parents have shown us since birth... But it not Singers, Sculptures or designers...They are doomed by the people if they choose these profession..

Indonesian on the other hand, are more opened in Performing Arts... I have a friend from Indonesia who studies only Classical Music!!... Chopin, Vivaldi, Benthoven and many more classical composers were her idol... What she is right now?...A well known composer...

Another friend who only concentrate on broadcasting...He ended up as a producer today for a famous movie in Indonesia...and that movie was highly preceived by Malaysians...

Malaysian movies like Yasmin Ahmads movies are realilty to Malaysian but Malaysian couldnt accept it...because it is happening to Malaysian today...But Malaysian prefer some sopa drama... Which is not educational or entertaining..

Malaysian singers, mostly, sings love songs, either have broke up or getting into a fight..

But Indonesian singers... Its more happy, joyous type of songs... Malaysian prefers these songs compared to Malaysian artise... but could Malaysian music industry catch up??

Thats why we have the debate we always hear in Malaysia, Why Indonesian Artise are famous in Malaysia but Malaysian artise is not in Indonesia or Even in Malaysia???...welll.think for yourself after my blurbring up there!!.

These are not related to anyone...just something I feel and what I think!!
