Subject:Safety concerns at Penang International airport and Fireflyz groundcrew rudeness with passengers

To whom it may concern,

I arrived Penang airport on flight FY 2098 from Subang airport to Penangat 2240hrs and it was raining. Being a frequent patron to Penang airport,I am aware that the airport is under construction. The plane was parkedon the apron near Gate 12 and we were not ushered to the designated passengerroute toward to the arrival gate, until late a Fireflyz ground staff usheredus through machinaries and generators. Knowing passengers who doesntwear safety shows, Malaysian airports should ensure the safety of passengersgoing through the equipments and generators, with water puddles on theapron which makes it worst if there are live generator with leak currents. What MAHB should do, is to put proper baricades and signages which is clearlyvisible to passengers especially at night and during this raining seasons.

The Fireflyz ground crew should at least ensure passengers safety, eventhoughit is MAHB's responsibility to prepare the infrastructure, but i got arude reply by a woman FIreflyz's ground staff that it was ot her responsibilityof the apron's hazard's. She was wearing a black Fireflyz polo t-shirt.And i could hear her radio conversation in the teminal building about meraising the safety issue of unsafe act! And it was not her matter to address.

Again, i have to point out, safety is everyone responsibility and not demarkingwhos who is responsible. But as a passenger who is always being usheredto new route to the arrival gates at all different flights, i do not expectthe Penang ground staff to assume all passengers know their exit ways.

Yes, it is dissapointing for me to be greated like that on a internationalairport and a reknown community airline ground staff that safety is beinglooked lightly. I hope the management should do necessary action on ensuringpassengers safety during construction and the crew's atitude to help passengerstheir way to exit safely

As a Rakyat: Political amusement in the Opposition ring.

I was so amused seeing the Opposition party (PKR, DAP and PAS) trying to show how they do work and wanting to shine out to the Rakyat that they can make the CHANGE. Well, I have to say, they have done a great job of making a fool out of themselves. Why do i say that?

Recent claims by PKR that the Feedstock corporation linked to Dato Sharizat Jalil is mis-using the Govt Loan funds to aquire 2 Nos of Hi End condominiums in Bangsar. And it was not appropriate and should put the money in the bank instead. Well, for a big corporation like that, to utilised such amount of fund should get the consent of the board of directors. And of course, a GLC like that, a Govt representative should attend to the BOD meetings and gave the greenlight? correct? Plus, as an investor (well, im still new to be a seasoned investor), one should know that savings in Banks and reaping 3-5% interest rate is so little amount compared to getting a yeild profit of 10-12% a year. Also, if PKR and PAS is soo into Islamic Syariah compliance, interest rate is RIBA!.. Haram to use it for ownselve, but it is needed to distribute the interest to Baitulmal and community. What will the DAP friends say if all the money gives to Baitulmal? UnFAIR...Better read Robert Kiyosaki's book, that savings is the thing of the PAST..

Another thing i realised after 4 years of Political Tsunami, most PR lead states, doesnt give a HUGE change or impact in the society, but 80% of their time is blaming the previous government. PENANG claiming to get UNESCO herritage status was the job of PREVIOUS govt, and not PRESENT govt. What CHANGE has the DAP led state brings to PENANG? Yes I do see some changes, like free water (its being balanced with higher quit rent and local taxes), hikes on Real Estate price, and I do know some Bumiputera contractors were not paid or delaying their payment because they were choosen by BN led govt in the past. Well, being professional, we do pay for job well done or acceptablily completed. Also, what else DAP has bring forth for the Penang people since they took power? Ouh, another funny story announced by LGE, to build few new highways and a tunnel from main land to Gurney drive amounting RM8billion. Where the heck you getting that much money from? Well, he said, from land deals and from Fed Govt. Again, you are relying on BN Govt to give you money. Where have the money collected from Penang tax goes to? Another funny story is that, the tendering process would take a year to complete. I have never heard of 1 year tendering process being made. The cost of construction if being hold will escalate 8% a year if you delay it till its award... Shows how uneconomically educated these people are. That 8 billion will be different in a years time my friend.

The usage of ink to mark you have voted on the voting day. OK, whats a big deal of this ink one may ask. It shows that you have done your voting and there wont be any repeating voting by the same person using a phanthom name. OK, thats a good move, I agree, 1 person, 1 vote, because we're 1Malaysia, rite?.. Anyways, why do we need to buy such ink from INDIA or SRI LANKA? and Why cant we just asked or appoint Malaysian ink manufacturers to supply them? I do smell some fishes here.. Another thing is, if we are applauding to change to better Malaysia like the Europeans (bless their souls after bad economic crisis) and the Americans, lets look, whether thay have used or are they using Ink to indicate their vote? As far as I can remember during my days in the UK, they dont use ink but normal ballot papers or using computer to cast their votes. Of course, with very advance sophasticated security measure to ensure the voting process are fair and correct. So why are we going for ink again and not going for thumb print? Are we going backwards rather than forward???

As a Rakyat, I do want improvements in Malaysia, the the Greater Better Malaysia. Everyone lives in harmony, prosper and happy. We tend to take things for granted for what we have, but we could improve much more from the peering developing countries. We are encourage to look in the past to learn our mistakes but not to blame others which has happened in the past. We cant control Mother Nature nor the World economic movements, but being a Malaysian, and I know we can, we can adapt to change and still live in harmony and work together to achieve the goal of being developed country. Also, I do hope, we, Malaysian earn as proportionate as the inflation. Govt is doing all they can to make that happen. Just that we do need to understand the big picture and all aspect of the issue, and not just getting too emotional on the surface of the problem. These petty issues cant be presented to the newer generations of voters, probably in the PAST yes, but not today's

Malaysia, i do hope we MOVE FORWARD for progress of a better nation, keeping the tempo and achieve being a developed country and an envy of other countries how we grow as rapid as today!
