Where can you have supper in the middle of wee mornings when you feel so hungry?..just a car ride away to a mamak stalls and presto you got your food!!.. where can you get cheap entertainment, like DVDs, Movies, CDs?... Its all in Malaysia!!.... I've travelled all around Europe and in the UK but nothing beats Malaysia...
A country with such beautiful scenaries, multi cultured and also multi racial, houses of beautiful buildings, old and new and many others that describes best about Malaysia.
Malaysia will celebrate her 48th Independence Day on the 31st August. Theres gonna be parties, fireworks and concerts celebrating Independence day. But is that the real meaning of celebrating independence?
Some forgets the real meaning of independence day the signicifcant of why we celebrating it its the celebration for all Malaysian after being freed from colonisation for 450 Years by the Dutch, Portuguese, Japanese, British and even the Siamese. Nowadays, Malaysian tend to forget that they are still being "colonised" by the foreigners indirectly.. Just look at the way of life of the young generations.
Tunku Abdul Rahman actually pulled it off!!...He managed to get the, then, Malayans to Unite to become one nation. Tun Abdul Razak brought up the country to greater heights by intiating the nations development. Tun Hussein Onn streghten the Unity of all races in Malaysia while Tun Dr Mahathir who made Malaysia on world's center stage. And lastly Dato Seri Abdullah or Pak Lah trying to sort out the countries economic gap between the rich and the poor.
I just hope Malaysian dont forget how our grandfathers fought for independence and not selling the country off to others again...
