The Trend of the Centurryyy

Every time I walk... whether to the market or to the shopping mall...or whenever i go for jogging in the evenings... whenever i passed a man or a women, young or some old man, i will see them wearing some ear piece in their ears......its not that they are deaf or just wanna cut away the noise pollution...its just that they have either a walkman...or an MP3 player...which is a trend nowday...BUT..thats not the reason I'm writing here today...the thing that bugging me is those people that i've come across it with e WHITE earphones!!...so what!?...its just white earphone no big deal u said?...it is BIG deal...its BIG now!...everyone is having an iPOD!!!...its either the normal iPOD (3G or the 4G series), the Mini or the Shuffle....

What really make this craze so sudden?!...because the attractive ads?!...or just the small MP3 player just plain cute?...

Steve Jobs, the creator of Apple Computers, is behind it all the way....his marketing strategy is Awesome i can sayy...he believed in his products since he first started Apple in 1976 when he launched Apple I, made by his good friend Steven Wozniak. Just a simple circuit board and some plywood covering them. But that lasted them a year to produced it... maybe lack of demand!?..who needs a computer then besides the government or big multi national companies...Steve Job didn't just stopped there, because he believe that computers are revolutionary products which one day be an essential thingy in our lives...dont believe me!?...why are u staring in front of the screen now!?... During that time...Sun computers were producing their computers, Intel were selling their ever best Intel 8080 , which most computer that time were using it as their microprocessor.

Apple after apple computer were introduced during the late 70s and then the 80s..when Steve changed his Apple computers to Macintosh Plus in 1986. By this time almost all businesses are using computers and Mac was one of the peak choices. I still remember my dad had one...and it cost a bomb!!....During this period till the early 90s, Apple gained popularity and only loyal Mac users will stay with Mac and wont changed to PC as Bill Gates big campaigning for Windows to the masses. One thing Mac cant compete with a PC is the pricing...dont ask me why...

But Steve, in his turtle neck long sleeve t-shirt cladded with blue jeans like he always do, keep on producing new designs and powerful Mac Powerbook G3 was around. IN 1997It was the most powerful notebook around that u can get at that time..

Revolution of Mac doesn't stopped there, the most popular iMAC, the single Screen with Funky colors were produced. Personally, i like to have that one, but it has stopped production. The Bondi Blue was the hit, then it comes also in Pink, for the girls basically. But that was Steve's stratergyy!!...Its making the computer Personalized. PC aint personaliesed...was it!?...PC was merely white or black in colour...unless u changed the casingg....and Apple did hit the Notebook sector again with iBOOK... comes with Funky colors as well..

Steve didn't forget the corporate sector, which have been supporting him all this time. The G4 was the most powerful computer in 2002..



Well..thats beside the point what i want to sayy....iPOD was first introduced late 2001 with its 1st Gen iPOD, which was only 5Gb storage capacity. The smart looking external hard disc started the Craze!!..everyone was getting one for Chirstmas...another Strategy by Steve?!....i guess so... then it came out with the 15GB, 20, 30, 40, 60 and then the biggest 80GB.

That doesnt stop Steve just yet!!!.....



It iPOD was too large for ladies, so he introduced the MiNi iPOD 2 years later after the big iPOD were introduced. It doesnt has the capacity like the elder iPOD, just 4GB and 6GB but who cares with storage space when the Mini comes in 4 FUNKY colors!!?!?!?...It really makes the Ladies go GA-GA for a Mini iPOD!!...right LADIES!!?.... well...i like the Mini too....coz its CUTE...



Then the Shuffle was introduced a year later!!...and its just a USB flash Drive with a capacity of 512Mb and 1GB... But who cares about the capacity guys!!...its still an iPOD..and its COOL..its FUNKY....

To sum all up..

Steve is brilliant... brilliant than Bill Gates!!... He developed Macintosh and have u ever heard Macintosh computers having spyware?!...No right?!!...ugghh..thats beside the point...

The iPOD families really revolutionised the society today, everyone wants one, now iPOD comes with a photo screen!!.. if u look back..iPOD is just a hard disc that stores your computer data, but with some WHITE funky headphones (which actually a retro kinda design i must say).. Funky ADs!!...Funky add ons... and its also practical at the same time..

I thought getting an iPOD would make my life difficult coz im using the PC and maybe theres a conflict... But like Billy said to me, dont make Apple products difficult, because, its EASIER than the PC, just Drag and leave it to the folders... Yup...hes right!!... And now....i can officially say, iM an APPLE Addicted too!!..iPOD really changed my life... now..saving my money for a G5 maybe!?...huhuhuhuh
